Hit The High Road



This is one of my favourite stamps and is by Little Claire Designs.  The paper is Die Cuts with a View, its from an old kit from QVC  I can't remember the name, sorry!.  I coloured the image with ProMarkers and added some distressing with Spiced Marmalade Distress Ink. I also used Glossy Accents on the windows and lights.  The corners are made using Cuttlebug dies and the stones and backing card are from my stash.   I would like to enter this into the 'Mode of Transport' challenge over at Artful Times challenge blog.  You should pop over and have a look - the Design Team is fabulous!     I LOVE all things VW so am in love with your card. A friend of mine had a orange VW van just like this (minus the flowers).

    Hi Christine, now that's a trip down memory lane for me! I love VW campers and have always wanted to have a holiday driving one around the country. A lovely stamp. I went over and had a look and the DT have done some lovely work but for my the VW would win every time! Anne x

    Chris this is a wonderful card. I can see why you love that stamp and I really like the colours you have used.
    We had a sunny afternoon here, too, and were able to sit outside - so nice! Let's hope it stays.

    What a clever use of backing paper. I love this stamp too but hands down you have done a much better project than me with it. Am jelous of your Crafty Individuals stash on the right there!

    I loved your title for this adorable card using a VW bus from back in the day when lots of people were hitting the "high" road if you know what I mean! Took me down Memory Lane ... that'd be a cute title, too!!
