What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 147

Oh my goodness its Wednesday already! Where does the time go?  This is my desk as I left it yesterday when I was playing with my new Sheena stamp set, Lakeside Shore and the little pots of colour are Cosmic Shimmer Paints and LuminArte H2Os.  I am making an anniversary card for my Brother and Sister in law - well if all goes to plan!! To join in WOYWW fun, all you have to do is visit Julia's Fab Blog its brilliant seeing what everyone is up to.  Have a fab day. x

This looks very interesting Chris. I just bought some Lavinia stamps so I need to do these kind of backgrounds too - time is so precious never seem to have enough of it!! Hope we will see the finished product xx

Weren't H2Os going to go away at one point? I seem to remember something to that effect but a Google search shows they are still going strong. I have some little pots that don't see enough playtime. I love that technique of using them for a background wash, so shimmery. Neat new stamps you have there.

Lovely sunset background ... I've sneaked a peek at the finished card and it is lovely ... smudge and all. Love the effect you made with the water on the H2Os. I'm sure your brother and SIL will love the card. Elizabeth x #145

The brush wash makes great sky and land features. Sometimes I think brayered backgrounds look a bit too perfect.
Just had a peep at the finished article and it looks terrific.
Thanks for sharing
