Bird Song

I have had this bird stamp for nearly a year and not used it until now.  It is from the Tim Holtz Urban Chic set by Stampers Anonymous.  The music stamp is repeat stamped, and is by Inkylicious.  I have used Spellbinders Foliage and Curved Rectangles and all the backgrounds are inked using Hydrangea Big and Juicy applied with Ink Dusters. The colouring is very subtle and doesn't show up too well in the photo. The letters are from my stash.  I am entering this into a challenge at Artful Times.  The other entries are amazing, definitely worth a look.  Mine is very simple in comparison but I enjoyed making it and love to support their blog.  Any music fans will notice my glaring error! I stuck the music panel on upside down - silly me!!  I hope you are enjoying the fabulous weather and thank you for stopping by.  Take care, Christine xx

I would not have known the music was stamped more than once - perfect!
Love this card and I think it is very classy and quite complex as you have used quite a few different things within it. It really is a lovely card.
Thanks for joining us at Artful Times.

I think it looks lovely - simple is often the best. (I didn't notice the upside down music!) I have often wondered about Ink Dusters - are they good?
A gorgeous card, Chris.

Well it shows that I am not a big music fan 'cause I didn't realize it was upside down! I think it's a beautiful card all the same! waving hi from the hills of North Carolina :)

Hi Christine,

My cards are always simple too. I do love the fancy cards but wonder how they get mailed safely. Your little bird is sweet. I like how you've shaded the background.

When I saw that turquoise truck I fell in love. I always said by the time I turned 50 I'd have an old turquoise truck -- well, that didn't happen (unless you count the toy truck I have)!

Hugs,
Kay
