What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 183

I am a bit late but I made it for WOYWW!  If anyone is not sure what this is then hop over to Julia's Place to find out and join in the fun.

Absolutely no craft going on today I am afraid!  I have been out for my M.E. Support Group Christmas lunch which took over the whole day, not that I am complaining!  It was fab, lots of yummy food and we had a real laugh too.  Anyhoo, back to my desk - On the left is a wall hanging that my good friend Julie made for me to hang in my craft room.  The wooden music shapes are blog candy I won from Tando Creative and just above them are some Velcro fasteners I won from Hope and Chances - I have been very lucky this last week!  I am behind with my Christmas cards and still have quite a few to make so the Snowflake card is a simple design so I can get some done quickly.  You can see a pile of Snowflakes already stamped, embossed and matted.  The ticket is from a concert I went to in Brighton on Friday.  A brilliant chap called Rodriguez.  There is a documentary film out about him at the moment called 'Searching for Sugarman'.  His tour is under the same name and he was amazing!  The film and the concert are both well worth seeing if you get the chance.  Tomorrow I must clear my desk and get those cards made!  Have a good week and thank you for visiting.  Take care.  Christine xx

Well they say things come in threes and you have had three lovely things this week so well done for that. The hanging that your friend made looks lovely and well done on the velcro from Christine, that will come in so handy! Happy WOYWW, Anne x #49

Those wooden shapes look amazing. What fun you'll have. I just wish I were sensible and had chosen a simple design like you.

You are smart to choose a simple design for your Christmas cards..every year I say I am going to do that & every year I end up coloring tons of adorable images & panicing about now because my cards aren't ready! LOL

I can say that I have the cards done but can't get around to getting them in the mail--d'oh! And I don't even have any fun excuses for not doing it. No fab friends and lunches and concerts for me. It sounds like you have been having fun and that's important. Happy playing!

Lucky you - such great goodies to win and the wall hanging is lovely. I'm glad you had such an enjoyable lunch, Chris. Some things are more important than crafting!
I really like your Christmas cards. Simple and yet sophisticated. I have failed in my quest to make enough ... maybe next year!

The wall hanging your friend made for you is great! A nice addition to your craft room.

It's so nice to have a group of friends that you can meet up and have a nice meal with and catch up.
