Marleine's Encaustic Art Card

Its my friend Marleine's birthday today - Happy Birthday Marleine! - she very kindly visits my Blog.

This is only my second successful Encaustic Art scene.  I am not very good at them yet, I am better with abstracts.  My bin was full of rejects after making this card - I need more practice!  I covered the image with acetate fixed with brads.  Sorry I am a bit behind with visiting all your blogs, will try and catch up over the next couple of days.  Thank you for visiting me and take care! xx

I can't believe you think you are not very good at creating scenes, Chris, as your card is absolutely stunning. It has such depth and leads the eye right into it. Fabulous!

that is so incredible. I love poppies they really stand out on the clever background youve made. Id say you are an expert not a beginner.
