The letter for the Alpha Challenge at The Craft Barn this time is 'D' and I decided on 'Dandelion'.
I love these Dandelion and extra seed stamps - they are from a set called Dandelion Wishes from Creative Expressions and I have stamped them in Black Archival Ink embossed with clear embossing powder. I can't remember where I got the 'he loves me , he loves me not', stamp but it just seemed to fit the image. The background is Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean and Pickled Raspberry Distress Inks splodged with water, dabbed with kitchen roll, dried and then sprayed with Abominable Snowman Glimmer Mist. I then used an aperture from Stamps Away Apertures Set 2 and inked through with Pickled Raspberry Ink as a base for the main image. The letters are made with Cuttlebug dies and I have edged everything with little dashes using a thin permanent marker pen. The whole page really glimmers but you can't see it too well as my photography skills are not very good!! I hope you have a fab weekend. Thank you so much for visiting and if you can spare the time, it would be fab if you could pop over to The Craft Barn and see the other entries and DT pages. Its also just a very cool blog to visit! I always find loads of inspiration there! Thanks again and take care. Christine xx

You've done a sensational job on this, Christine! I love the sweet colors of the background and the shimmer on the beautiful make-a-wish flower! Well, okay, normally I don't call dandelions "flowers," but they become magical when they go to seed and are blown away by humans or by Mother Nature as you've shown here. Well done!!
Is that your new distress ink colours great combination. Hope to see you soon with those sizzix dies xxx Ju
