Here I am again with my Craft Barn entry for the Alpha Challenge which is 'J'. I went for 'Jingle' so its a Christmas page. I also want to add a dose of self pity and apologise, once again, for not blogging very often and not getting around to visiting you all often enough. My husband has been ill for about four months and the specialists don't know what it is and as I suffer from CFS (ME was the old name) I am not coping too well although I am trying to be positive! My daughter is due to have a baby (so exciting!!) on 1st November but its breech at the mo so she has to go into hospital on Monday to see if they can turn it. I am a great big ball of worry all round! All in all, craft is taking a bit of a back seat and I am so sorry!! Self pity over now - here is my page!
I love Christmas so it was a good excuse to do a Christmas page! The background is Tumbled Glass, Stormy Sky and Pine Needles Distress Inks blended then spritzed with water and dabbed with kitchen roll. The tree stamp is a very old wooden stamp with no maker on it - I stamped it twice so it went right across the page. The Santa's Sleigh is by IndigoBlu. I used black Archival Ink. I used a Clarity mask for the moon and coloured it with Squeezed Lemonade Distress Ink. I dotted dries white glue all over the page and over the stamping for snow and added Tim Holtz white glitter for sparkle. The large letters are Cuttlebug and I wrote the words along the bottom and the music notes with a permanent pen. Please visit The Craft Barn Blog to see the DT pages and the other fab entries. Thank you so much for visiting and bearing with me! Its much appreciated. Take Care. Christine xx

What a fabulous choice of subject for J ... and what an amazing Chrismassy scene you've created ... fabulous frosty colours and that brilliant moon! I do hope life settles down for you soon ... and craft when you can because that always helps! Anita :)
Oh wow, I love you page. It looks so good. Very wintry and bright. The trees give a real depth and the sleigh looks so good.
Sorry, things are so tough for you at the moment. Thinking of you. Jx
Beautiful page and a great word to chose--now I will be singing the Christmas Song all day and people will think I am crazy lol
Love Chrissie x
Love your scene, the snow is very effective and the tree stamp is perfect!
Hey Chris - heck, we all have to vent once in a while and it sounds to me like you have your hands full. You must be worried silly about your husband and daughter.
Your J page is delightful and full of hope and joy. You are not down and out kid -- beautifully created.

Beautiful page Chris and I love Christmas too, but no winter scenes for me- just summer time. Things will get better soon as baby is born and your husband is diagnosed - the unknown becomes known and can be dealt with. Hang in there and don't worry about the little things. Take care.
You can only do what you can do, and when it all gets to much you have to stop, slow down and let the blogging and visiting slide, I have the past couple of weeks.
Anyway I love your page, very Christmassy, I should be making Christmas cards - should have started in July and only have a few so far, oh dear.

You have so much going on at the moment Christine, I hope they help your hubby to get back to normal... stress does not help your condition either... poor you...I hope all settles for the birth of your lovely Grandchild....Your page is Gorgeous... I adore the images & perfect colours....Take care... Hugs May x x x
Hi Chris, it seems to me you have a lot on your plate at the moment. I do hope everything turns out allright! Love your J-page, such a pretty page! Hugs Frea
A very nice letter J card. You did a great job with this. It feels so wintery. I like that big old moon. You sure have a lot going on right now. I hope it all works out all right.
First of all, your Christmas jingle page is about as iconic as it can get! You've laid out a brilliant Chistmas eve scene!!
You can have a pity party on your blog every day if you need to do that, Christine. It is YOUR blog and you certainly deserve a party with all the carp you are dealing with right now!!
I am adding all of you to my prayer list. I know the wee one will be okay, so I will concentrate on your Mister. The WORST, at least for me, is the not knowing and four weeks is horrendous! At this point, you don't even care WHAT the conclusion is, just make a diagnosis!! My heart goes out to you.
Please do keep me posted on how things are going. It won't be long now waiting for the baby and babies always have a way of bringing necessary sunshine into our lives!
God bless. Hugs, Darnell
Fabulous 'J' page Chris, I love everything about that. Pity about the trees not having a make, I would love to have that stamp in my stash!
Sorry to hear you've a few things causing worry at the moment, hope you're husband is feeling better now - that precious baby will bring you so much joy I bet you can't wait!
