Christmas Post Box

Back to Christmas again with this one.

The stamp is a Dinkie stamp by Little Claire - I love the postbox with the little birds and the snow - such a perfect Christmas image!  I stamped it in black Versafine and embossed it with clear powder then coloured the image with watercolour paints. The die is by Spellbinders and I inked through with a little Distress Ink and added loads of glitter.  The corners of the red mat and the base card are all rounded with a Corner Chomper by We R Memory Keepers  Then finally I added little white dots with a white pen to look like snow.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Darnell's Blog - NBUS (Never Before Used Schtuff)  - Anything goes as long as you include something that is NBUS - I have not used the stamp before.

Little Claire's Challenge - Christmas

Craft Barn - Stamping

Please pop over to these awesome blogs and have a look and see - you will be glad you did! Thank you so much for visiting me - I really appreciate it!  Take care. Christine xxx

I really do love the post boxes that were used in The United Kingdom.
Are they still using them?
I have always been fond of red and white cards for Christmas - beautifully made!

What a fab car Chris. I know someone over the water who would love that. I did, however, send her one on a keychain and she thanked me for the other thing I sent. Go figure!
Tell you what it is too hot. Will make it later next time as I can't do with it so warm. Sorry to grouch, am loving the holiday though.
Hugs, Neet xx

You have really done a stunning job with this image, Chris! The execution is impeccable and it's easy to see you put your heart in it! I love the colors and the vintage feel it brings of a time when people treasured and embraced sending Christmas cards in the mail!! Thank you for playing in my NBUS Challenge #5! Enjoy the weekend! (I'm looking forward to the announcement!)! Hugs, Darnell
