What's on Your Workdesk? Wednesday 134

I am not actually making anything this week, but had to have a play with my new Grand Calibur for the first time today!  If you want to join in with WOYWW pop over to Stamping Ground and join in the fun!

My husband bought me the Grand Calibur and my Son and Daughter (who are grown up, unlike the picture on my desk!) bought me some dies.  I already have a Cuttlebug, which I love, but am thrilled to have the new bigger machine too.  I hope you had a good Christmas with lots of fun, family, friends and pressies.  Thank you for visiting my desk  xx

Whats on your Workdesk? Wednesday 133

Welcome to my desk.  I am rather late getting going today!  I have to make a birthday card so am starting with my Marion Emberson clear stamps and Hobby Art clear greetings.  The papers are a 200 sheet book of wonder from Brenda Pinnick that I picked up very cheap from, I think, QVC many moons ago.  I have a plan but usually end up going off somewhere completely different!  You know what it is like?  Here is a card I made recently using a similar combination - so I may end up doing the same sort of thing or something completely different - who can say!!

To join the fun of WOYWW click Here its fab!!  Wishing all of my desk hopping friends a great Wednesday and an absolutely wonderful Christmas and thank you for visiting me today xx

What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 131

I can hardly believe it is a week already since I entered the wonderful world of WOYWW!  Its crazy how time flies, especially near Christmas.

I am adding inserts to my Christmas cards today - then they are finished - Hurrah!!!  My desk is more ordered when I am making cards on mass.  When I get back to normal, my desk will be a complete mess!  My cards have been quite simple this year as I left them until the last minute.  Next year I am hoping to start early and try some more elaborate creations.  That is the plan anyway!  If anyone does not yet know about Whats on your Workdesk? Wednesday - join in Here.  Enjoy the rest of your Wednesday and thanks for stopping by my desk x

Following on From Wednesday...

Here is a finished example from my workdesk on Wednesday - a cute little robin...

My cards are all along the same theme at the moment, but as I have left it so late, it is easier that way.  May try something different next time. Sue at particraft has new blogcandy starting today.  If you haven't already been on her site its fab!  Take care all  x

Little George in Blue

Thought I would try Little George in blue today...

Spellbinders and sparkle again! A bit of a theme going on here I feel!  I like using the same stamps with different colour backing papers and matching the colours with ProMarkers. Where would we crafters be without those little colouring pens!! Must also work out how to present my pictures properly - I haven't got a clue!!! Sorry!

Little George in Red and Green.

Here is 'Little George' from Little Claire Designs, all ready for Christmas! Products used are ProMarkers, Spellbinders Labels One, Craftwork Cards Scallop Card and Card Candy and the Festive Berries Distress Ink from the new Limited Edition Tim Holtz Winter set. A few bits from my stash and, of course, glitter completes my effort. The picture is a bit rubbish I am afraid as my camera needs replacing - must do that soon!  My photography skills need improving too!  I'm very exciting about having a follower - thank you Christine!   Must go and try Little George in different colours.

Starting at Last

I have at last started making my Christmas cards.  I know its late but hey ho!  Have got inspiration from Little Claire's website and am using their stamps.  Marion Emberson has some good ideas for simple cards on her blog, well worth a look too.  Will upload some pictures when I have some finished cards to show.
