What's on your Workdesk? Wednesday 145

If you don't know what this Wednesday thing is all about, then pop over to Julia's wonderful blog to join in and have a good snoop at fellow crafters desks.

I have to confess, not much crafting has been done over the last couple of weeks but I have started again this afternoon with some embossing.  Not sure where I am going with it yet but, folders and cuttlebug at the ready and will see where I end up! Towards the back you can see a tub of Flitterglu.  I bought the starter kit containing this, some guilding flakes and the necessary sponges and stuff so I can have a go.  Something to try in the future. If anyone has already tried using the Flitterglu, please let me know how you got on? Thank you. I hope you are having nice weather wherever you are.  Here in Bournemouth it is sunny and warm at the moment. One think I forgot to put on my desk in pride of place was my WOYWW badge - how remiss of me! Thank you Julia.  Have a fab day everyone and thank you for visiting my desk xx

You have a lovely tidy desk. I have used the Flitterglu and you get the most amazing results, just don't cake on the glue, a thin coat is all that is needed - have fun with it. Regards, Anne #150

Hi Chris Yes I have some flitter glu and the mega flakes and the sponge I bought the kit with hints & tips sheet, I know the foam is called phat foam, you take around a half a teaspoon of the glue and put over the phat foam, you only need about a 2" piece of the foam put the glue on the white side, then in a dabbing motion onto your chosen stamp, then stamp your card, you do not need to press as hard as you when stamping with ink hold your card down as the glue will stick a little to it! then add flakes to stamped area, wash your stamp ASAP in plain water (not the foam that can be used up to 4-5times on other stamps) if you wish!! One big tip, make sure you put your flakes into a biggar tub and wipe your hands with a anti-static cloth or these flakes go everywhere, I used it on some chipboard on my blog for a tag I won at crafty individuals challenge, its a few posts back if that would help,, sorry Chris if I have confused matters more, Hugs May x x x

There is another WOYWW'er who uses Flitterglu and evidently loves it! I had to ask what it was, so that's why I remember it, but you can go through my comment section last Wed. and find her as she wrote about it in her comment she left me. So happy flitterglu'n! lol wearing green and waving from the hills of North carolina :)
