Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day to all you Mum's out there!  Have a lovely day with lots of treats!  My card isn't actually a Mother's Day card but could be used for one.

I started by masking the outside of the white panel with stencil tape then inked with Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Salty Ocean Distress inks.  I used a Special Touch mask and inked through with the same inks to create the background flowers then spritzed with Glimmer Mist and dried with a heat gun.  After removing the tape, I stamped the Clarity Cow Parsley and Sentiment in Versafine and embossed with clear Detail Powder.  I also drew a wobbly line round the inking with a silver Stardust Sakura pen.  I matted on black, then a piece of card inked with the same DI colours, then a 7 x 7 black base card and added some pink pearls in the corners.

I would like to enter the following challenges:
Clarity Flower Power
That's Crafty Inky Antics

Please pop over to see the Design Team projects and other cool entries.  Thank you so much for visiting me, I appreciate it so very much!  Have a lovely day and take care! Christine xx

I'm feeling better and finally have had a chance to catch up with you, Christine. Great cards, as always!! This beautiful creation looks like framed art for the wall and it could very well be just that! The sediment would make a person smile every time they read it walking by!! Have a great week!! Hugs, Darnell

What a very fancy card! It actually looks like a framed piece of art in the photo and it certainly would be worthy of that. I love the masked look with the stamping over lapping it. Very nice!
