Two Cards - Two Challenges

The first is a Christmas card I am going to be so organised for this years big day (I hope!)

The snowflakes are stamped with Hero Arts Shadow Inks and the snowflakes stamps are from a Hero Arts set also.  I masked the panel with masking tape before I did the stamping then removed it and stamped the Penny Black hedgehog on the top then added the sentiment.  The black stamping is Versafine embossed with clear powder.  I then added lots of glitter for sparkle and a black wobbly line top and bottom of the  snowflake panel for definition.

Rudolph Day January is the challenge I want to enter this card into - its being run this year by Scrappymo - thank you!

This next card is for a challenge called Bright and Happy..

The flowers are just one part of a fabulous set by HobbyArt called Floral Sketches.  They are stamped in Black Versafine, embossed with clear powder and coloured with Distress Inks.  I then added clear Wink of Stella to the petals and Stickles to the centres.  The flowers are stamped on shapes cut out using a Spellbinders die and I added little white dots for interest on the background.

I would like to enter this into the HobbyArt Bright and Happy Challenge.

Please visit both of these blogs - you will find lots of inspiration there!

Thank you so much for visiting me - I appreciate it so very much!  Take care.  Christine xxx

Chris, Thanks for joining in with 2015's first Rudy day...Love each of these cards. I'm partial to this PB hedgie, and he's delightful with that festive border strip that he's perched upon. A perfect CAS card. Love the florals of #2...very colorful. Will be joining as your newest follower, and hope you'll have time to pop over to visit me sometime too. TFS & Happy wkend.

I really like your Christmas card with the faux layered panel (it looks layered on the photo). Good luck being ready for the big day (is anyone, ever?). Love the fun and funky floral card, the bright colored flowers matched with the dark background.
