Bad to the Bone!

Hello and welcome!  Thank you for visiting me - Its a long time since my last post, so sorry!  I have my first cataract  operation the week after next so hopefully that will be the beginning of things being easier on the vision front and I will be able to blog a bit more.  Today is a card I actually made for my sister's birthday last year - she loves dogs.

I love these Aall and Create Dog stamps, they have so much personality.  The Dies are
Lisa Horton, the words are from the dog stamp set and the little bone charm is from my stash.  I think I coloured the dogs in with Promarkers and used Glossy Accents on their eyes.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Pixies's Snippets Playground - Everything except the base card are snippets.
Allsorts Challenge Blog - I Love - I love my sister and we both love the dogs!
Stamping Sensations - Animals, Birds and Bugs.
Darnell's NBUS Challenge - Never Before Used Schtuff! - This is the first outing for the dogs.

It is so nice to have done a blog post!  I really miss it and miss supporting the fab challenges.  Thank you again for visiting me.

Take care of yourselves.  Hugs Christine xxx

Hi Chris

That's an adorable canine card and a great sentiment!

Hope you make a good recovery from your cataract op . . . you said it's your FIRST . . . does that mean you have to have another? If so, I wish you a speedy recovery from that too.

A mug of hot chocolate is awaiting you in the Playground Treehouse to aid your recovery!

Hugs, Sarn xxx

Good luck with the cataract op, it's a miracle procedure, worse part is the glass eye patch at night!!

It's lovely to see you blogging, Chris! I'm going long in between posts (for me) because of other projects and I do miss the regular routine of crafting for the challenges and blogging. You made your sis a really delightful doggie card, which I'm sure she treasures! I love the fun sediment cascading down the triple treat!

If I don't see you again beforehand, I wish you the best of luck with the op. I am still amazed that they can do that and the difference it made with my vision. Thank you for sharing with everyone at NBUS! Lots of love and hugs, Darnell

How lovely to see you playing with us Chris and with such a wonderful card as well! You ought to know that I'm crackers over dogs - such fun ones you used!

Good luck with the cataract op. My bestie from school days had hers done a while ago and her main observation was how dusty her house was! That did make me chuckle.

Hugs
