Over at Clarity Challenge Blog the theme is Feminine. Here is my effort - just in time! Its the last day.
I chose the background from a pile of Gelli plate prints I had made - the dress is decoupaged from the same sheet. The lovely lady is Rosie by Clarity and she is stamped in Black Archival. Around the edge I stamped the leaves from the Clarity Birdhouse stamp set. The Happy Birthday is a die that came free with a magazine and the little flowers are a fab die which is loads of teeny tiny flowers. I added pearls then coloured Rosie's hair and shoes with coloured pencils, shaded under her feet with a Distress Marker and it was finished. I would have coloured her hair and shoes with Distress Markers if I had the right colours. I must also confess that the sentiment wasn't supposed to be there but I had an ink accident that I needed to cover up but I actually quite like it!
Please pop over to The Clarity Challenge Blog and have a look, its fab!
Thank you so much for visiting me, I really appreciate it loads and loads! Have a lovely Sunday. Take care. Christine xxx

A lovely card Chris although I must confess to having no idea about gelli plates but I can identify with hiding mistakes! Susan x
I love your Gelli plate background (I have not tried that yet) and Rosie is beautiful. I love the sentiment exactly how you have put it, it looks great! Hugs, Anne xx
Fabulous card Chris!
I love that background of yours as well ;)
A very feminine card, Chris. Your Gelli Plate background looks lovely, so delicate and pretty, and your stamping is fab, as usual. Jx
You won the drawing for the red chevron ribbon by commenting on my blog (Aug 10). Email me your address so I can get it in the mail to you.

So delicate, feminine and dreamy, Chris ... the black is fabulous with the soft pink! If you hadn't mentioned the 'creative adjustment' of the die cut sentiment, I would never have known it wasn't meant to be there originally! Anita :)
Hi Christine,
What a beautiful card!!!
Thank you for dropping by!

There is so much to like about this card. I thought the greeting was a Martha punch as I have one very similar to have. I love the background and that you used more of it to make her dress. The leaves along the border are a nice touch as all the pearls on all those wee flowers. A definite winner!
Hi Christine love your card! the background is fab..sorry I haven't been around hubby isn't too good right now so I'm catching up huggles Sue xxx
She makes such a love birthday card, Christine! I do adore the coloring and those sweet pearls are the perfect touch!! I hope you are doing well! Hugs, Darnell

Hi Chris, it's been a while since I visited. I must admit that blogging it at an absolute low for me. Facebook seems to have taken over since there are so many art groups on there. Have scrolled down to see what you've been up to. So many good stuff to see, love your Christmas card! Gorgeous!! Hugs Frea
WOW! this card is absolutely gorgeous. I love your Gelli print background, and how you used it for the dress, too. So pretty! You used the stamp to perfection here!!!
Hi Chris,
Isn't it great when an accident turns happy! Your card is lovely; good luck with the challenge. I have never entered a challenge - do they choose winners?
Thanks for stopping by the other day. I'm finally getting to log on and do some visiting.
Hugs,
Kay
It's so hard for me to use my gelli backgrounds, they are so pretty! I love yours, and good luck in the challenge!
