Hello at last! Sorry I have been away from Blogland for so very long. We have been giving my craft room a complete revamp. As you can see by the photos below, it had got to the state where I didn't even like going in there and was losing my love of crafting. Even the floor was covered with stuff, and all my stamps, dies etc were all over the place and I couldn't get to a lot of them! I was tripping over stuff, a lot of it rubbish and really couldn't cope anymore. Because of our health problems, it has taken us (I could not have achieved it without my husband, Darren) so long.
Today I am just showing 'before' pictures - as ashamed of them as I am! So here goes!
There it is, nothing hidden - I know how shocked you must be about the state of it all! I hope you will come back tomorrow and see the change.
Thank you so much for sticking with me and for the comments and emails of concern I have received while I have been away, I can't believe what a lovely place the crafting world is. It really makes such a difference to me and means a lot!
Thank you for visiting me. Take care. Christine xxx

Hi Christine, oh wow! I can see that you have some fabulous storage and an amazing stash. I can also understand why it took you some time, given your health problems, to sort through it all - I've been in the same muddle myself, more than once! I'll definitely be back tomorrow to see the 'after' pics. xx
Hi Chris,
I was so pleased to see you posting again! I am looking forward to seeing your new revamped craft room. It’s really not that bad as it is. I don’t have a craft room, I have my crafty things stashed all over the place and craft on a tray on my knee! Take care hugs xx
Looking forward to seeing the revamped room!
Hi CHRIS lovely to see you posting...and looking forward to the after piccys....I have been doing a lot of de stashing and taking stuff to the charity shops..there comes a time.....hugs xxxxx
You have a lovely, light filled space to craft in Chris ... excited to see the next photo's where you've made it work just as you want it to! Hugs, Anita :)
Yay! So great to see you, Chris! But, alas, not so great to see that craft room, lol! You know that would have given me hives, too, so I can understand why you needed to just call a halt and bring in the bulldozer (Darren) to help you shovel it out! What a great accomplishment though, eh? Oops, I should say that sentence for tomorrow's post when I know it will be like those brilliant lady make-overs one sees on TV and gasps! Can't wait ... way to leave us in suspense! Lots of hugs, Darnell
Your room really did make me smile Chris, it is not such a long time ago when mine looked quite similar! It is so hard to get rid of things, I know how ruthless you have to be.... I cannot wait to see what it looks like now!
It is so lovely to have you back too, you have been missed very much my friend. Big hugs, Anne xxx
I recognise this! I don't have a separate craft room and so the corner of one of our rooms works as my 'craft room' and yes it spreads across the room as I work ...
Good to see you back, Chris. :-)
