This Little Birdie!

Hello and thank you so much for visiting me.   One of the challenges I am entering today is Darnell's fabulous 'Twofer' Challenge.  Here are my cards:

The bird is the silhouette and leg parts only of a Hero Arts layering bird and branch  clear stamp set.  I have had this for a few years and this is the first time I have inked it up!

This is a birthday card for a friend who doesn't read this blog - her birthday isn't until next month.
Inks -Versafine Clair Nocturne,  Purple Twi;ight and Summertime.
Words are Bee Crafty  - Stamped on snippets of card and fussy cut out.
Crown - Lavinia Stamps.
Layering dies - Lisa Horton.
Sparkles - Moon Dust by Lavinia Stamps

I turned the bird into a robin for this Christmas card.

Inks - Coffee Archival, Tulip Red Versafine Clair and Acorn Versafine Clair.
Layering dies by Clarity Stamp - All cut from Snippets of card.
Words - Stamplorations.
Snow - White Posca Pen with glitter added for sparkle.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Darnell's Twofer Challenge - Two cards using the same stamp or die but with totally different designs and occasions.
Darnell's NBUS Challenge - use Never Before Used Schtuff - mine is the bird stamp set.
Allsorts Challenge Blog - Feminine/For A Lady -I am entering the DL card into this challenge.
Stamping Sensations - For A Lady - I am entering the DL card into this challenge.

Sorry the photos are not very good but I am too tired to take more and I want to post this before I go to bed.  I am definitely no David Bailey!

Thank you again for visiting me and take care!  Hugs Christine xxx

So glad we could help you finally use your bird set Chris, and you used it beautifully on both cards!! Your birthday card is fabulous with the row of birds, and I especially love the crown on the birthday birdie!! And your Christmas Robin is just as sweet as can be and colored beautifully too! Thanks so much for sharing with us at The Twofer Challenge!! Marcia (DT) :0)

Clever crafting Chris with such different effects with the same stamps, from season to one that would fit so many occasions and really like the one pink birdie popping from the flock in his or maybe her regal crown.

Perfect for our themes at Stamping Sensations and Allsorts challenges, thank you so much for joining in.

Oh, well done, Chris!! I love your slimline row of birds with all of them in silhouette except the star of the day, the birthday girl, who is all decked out in her finery and her crown! Love it and love the sediment! You did a brilliant job of making a sweet robin for your pretty Christmas card and surrounding her in festive red and white! Thank you for playing in TCC #40 and sharing with everyone at NBUS! Hugs, Darnell

I love how you've dressed up your pink bird as queen! And the Christmas robin is just lovely!

Your first card is really fun and made me smile. What a great job you did turning him to a robin. Clever use of the layering stamps - I find them a bit too complicated but you've shown how to use them just a effectively in a simpler way.

They are both so beautiful Chris but that first one with the pink bird among the black ones just knocked my socks off!!

I obviously haven't been reading your blog either! Totally missed this post. Just brushing the crumbs off the naughty step and now found penance. What a super stamp to turn it into two such different cards. Hats off yo you. Love them both. Hugs Mrs A.
