NBUS Challenge Number 3

Over at Darnell's Fab Blog its her NBUS challenge number 3!  NBUS means 'Never Before Used Schtuff' and its great fun to join in - we all have so much stuff we buy and then take ages using!

Here is my card - I don't use patterned papers much and I really enjoyed making this - I used a stencil and drew round all the sections on two pieces of co-ordination paper then cut the pieces out and glued them down using the stencil as a guide.  I have all the sections left to make another one with the patterns in alternative places.

There are three different items on here that I have had for a while and not used yet until now, they are the papers which are Lili of the Valley and came free with a magazine., the fairy stamps which are from a Cardio set and the Clarity stencil that I used as a template to cut out and arrange the papers. I drew stitch lines round everything and added some Picked Raspberry Distress Ink around the edge of the main piece.  A touch of glitter and four blue stones and that was it.

I would like to enter the following challenges:

Darnell's NBUS - Never Before Used Schtuff - Anything Goes
That's Crafty - Blue Is The Colour
Buckwells - Anything Goes

Please visit these challenge blogs - they are all fabulous!

Have a good week - From Tuesday, I am going to be spending it with my Daughter, Son-in-Law and gorgeous one year old Granddaughter, Freya.  Loads of Freya cuddles for me!

Thank you so much for visiting me!  I value your visits and comments so much!  Take Care. Christine xxx

Such a delightful card, Chris. I bet it took ages to line up all the different elements. I love the pastel shades against the black. Jx
